Teamviewer Keyboard Input Not Working

Since macOS Mojave, accessing input devices directly like OpenEmu does is gated behind an additional permission called "Input Monitoring". The latest versions of OpenEmu automatically detect if this permission must be granted manually, and warn you in advance if necessary. If you still have problems with any controller or keyboard, follow these steps:

A: Despite what the text in System Preferences says, this permission does not only relate to access to input when the application is not in focus. If this permission is not granted, OpenEmu will not be able to access the keyboard or any game controller in any circumstance. Additionally, OpenEmu has a feature where you can enable inputs and continue to play even when the application is not in focus, which makes input permissions even more necessary.

A: macOS itself does not deliver to OpenEmu any keyboard event that was produced while typing in a password field, even when input permissions are enabled, so OpenEmu cannot spy on your passwords.

There are circumstances in which open applications, or other installed software can cause interference with gamepad and keyboard input in OpenEmu.Typically, the reason is that applications can open an input device for exclusive access (kIOHIDOptionsTypeSeizeDevice) therefore preventing OpenEmu from receiving input from it.

TeamViewer, a leading global provider of secure remote connectivity solutions, announced that it is now offering remote access with active control and keyboard input for the Google Pixel series, Xiaomi smartphones, Oppo devices and many more. This applies to private users as well as business customers. Starting today, all smartphones running on an Android operating system version 7 or higher can be supported by TeamViewer, regardless of whether the user needs assistance with the installation of an app or the correction of serious errors.

I was using TeamViewer for some a few years, non-commercial use, and I was satisfied with it.However, I noticed a problem when I connect from my Laptop running under windows to my PC running under Ubuntu (at work) that the screen cannot be blocked (black), and the same issue with the input terminal (keyboard).I have tired all the tricks of TeamViewer but nothing worked, and then, after googling this issue, it seemed that these are problems that have never been solved with TeamViewer, for some reason. At that time, I started using NoMachine (which I already knew even before TeamViewer) and it was not only faster, but it enabled screen and terminal blocking across different OS. One problem is that NoMachine cannot access the remote PC if the net is protected by a firewall (I was able to log to my PC if I was at work, but could not do so from home). After searching for solutions to this problem it seems that there are some solutions offered by purchasing some packages from NoMachine (license). After a few days of trying and installing quite a few software nothing worked, but, I found a simple solution to this problem, which is: VPN.

There are some cases when a machine needs to be shadowed, but no user is working on this machine or no keyboard/mouse attached. Examples are display terminals in bus or train stations or airports, or displays in industry halls or construction machines behind glass walls. To enable shadowing on these machines, set the parameter "Ask user at new connection" to "off". You will find this parameter in the "Screen shadowing" section of the "Services" parameters.

PS: When the keys would repeat all input devices would be locked up. ie. mouse won't move, clicks don't do anything, keyboard presses don't register. Then when it becomes unstuck, the mouse moves around and everything. Hope this helps.

Ubuntu Precise yesterday showed similar symptoms: numlock LED was insanely blinking, at times no keyboard input was possible on two of three connected keyboards, and additionally, the mouse cursor was being dragged down.

I feel the same as new4u, I have been having this keyboard problem and its really irritating. I use ubuntu as my main development machine. I left the mac cause I loved working on this, but with this problem, I guess I will go back. I have an i5 Asus machine running Ubuntu 13.04. I have upgraded my Kernel to run 3.9.0 but the problem persists.

I have a lead may beGiven scenario I have my keyboard stuck (i.e. I can't do andything with my keyboard)I suspend my laptop using mouse and voilà my keyboard is working againHope this helps!!!

In Windows the Input Language can be programmed to be maintained "per application" and even "per window" (in fact, multiple Internet Explorer windows can each have each their own language) via a Windows API that changes the input locale, to a different and/or default keyboard layout, if it is enabled for the user.

The best solution is to choose just one Input Language and Keyboard Layout and remove all other ones. Using US International as only Keyboard Layout can be of an advantage as it allows to input many more characters and symbols than available on the hardware keyboard.

At the top of the VM window, there is a tab marked "input". Under the keyboard menu is a list of key strokes for the modifiers. Most involve holding the "host key". On my machine the host key is Right ctrl

My only option is to then remote into the VMware and restart the VM. After doing this the Team Viewer connects again and the VM OS boots up fine. Upon signing in after a couple of minutes the process repeats. I am suddenly locked of mouse and keyboard input, the team viewer then loses connection and I have no option but to restart the VM.

Hi..this application is very helpful... Just saying for a few concerns: Can you improve the security? The Pc where you installed this don't have the ability or rights to exit or end task this program without entering the password.. And as Admin set full access to UltraViewer, anytime i can freely connect to that pc, using admin rights, the only message appear on his/her screen is "Admin (bla bla bla) is connected, keyboard and mouse input disabled"... No choice but to watch and wait until admins finish checking up the PC.. something like that? is this possible? Maybe it would be better to have two installer: 1) UltraViewerClient and the other is UltraViewerServer... something like this...hoping for your favorable action regarding this matter...Good luck! You have a very light and helpful application BTW... This will rock more if you improve a little bit...

Hello. UltraViewer looks like a promising peace of software. But I have found that some things that aren't working as I would expect. For example the SHIFT key doesn't work in some situations. It is not possible to delete the files permanently without moving them to Recycle Bin with SHIFT+DEL shortcut. Pressing SHIFT+DEL only wants to move the files to Recycle Bin, the same way like pressing only DEL does. Also it is not possible to mark the text with SHIFT+left arrow or SHIFT+right arrow keyboard shortcuts. Also when I change the software keyboard on the remote computer to my local language, it doesn't accept some characters from my notebook keyboard or USB keyboard attached to my notebook. So on the remote computer it is impossible to write some characters with the diacritics such as Á, É, Ú or Č, Š, Ž, because the diacritic signs or ˇ doesn't work.I'm connecting from Windows Vista to a remote Windows 7 computer. But anyways, thanks for your software.

the one thing we miss from teamviewer is the abi;lity to disable remote input and black screen on the remote while connected. If only this features can be done with ultraviewer, ill say it the best remote ever

By default, an edit box will be created and placed on top of the keyboard after it appears. This works as preview of the text that user is typing, so the text is always visible for the user. However, you can disable text preview by setting TouchScreenKeyboard.hideInput to true. Note that this works only for certain keyboard types and input modes. For example, it will not work for phone keypads and multi-line text input. In such cases, the edit box will always appear. TouchScreenKeyboard.hideInput is a global variable and will affect all keyboards.

It is possible to configure the keyboard to hide symbols when typing. This is useful when users are required to enter sensitive information (such as passwords). To manually open keyboard with secure text input enabled, use the following code: 2ff7e9595c
